The
inner and outer walls of a log house do not require any additional lagging or
insulation. We are using three types of logs on building the houses.
Logs
peeled by hand (round logs)
Logs are peeled by hand to conserve the valuable outer layer of the log. Diameter
200-260 mm.
Milled
logs (round logs)
Logs are processed on a mill giving them all the same diameter (160-240 mm).
Semi-stud
logs
Pine logs that are milled equally on both sides and are used for walls and dividing
walls. Diameter 160-240 mm.
